New Party?

Only in America. Today, Ol’ Down-home Sara told those who would listen that she is going to continue to campaign for those candidates who have her beliefs. She doesn’t care if they are Republican or Democrat. You heard it here first. Palin is planning to become the leader, or at least spokesperson, of a new third party. I’m sure it will be a down-home folksy party that sees the world in black and white, well actually in white and white. They will promise to return us to the days of old, or at least the days of old that they remember as wonderful. Palin is ready. She got the national exposure. She was very popular with at least one group in America. I must admit, I do listen to her, more as a diversion than for any leadership ability she may have. She is able to talk for a long time and not say anything of substance. With a leader like her, America would certainly change. And I fear, not for the better. One never really knows what politicians are doing…in this case I’m fairly sure she has a plan, and it has to do with a third National Party.

We made it to 89°, and alas, no rain. The clouds came in, raised the humidity to 25%--that’s high for us high desert folks. All we can do is wait for the sun to set and for things to cool off a little.
