My Rambling Thoughts

By ten this morning it was already 89. It’s going to be very hot. I did a couple of loads of laundry much earlier.

I had good conversations with both Mary and Cheryl this week. We are all doing well and are tired of this virus and all the precautions. None of us are ready for a restaurant lunch but may do a delivered lunch on Mary’s back patio in the not to distant future. AZ us still reporting high cases and we want to remain safe.

The EU is considering a ban on travel from the US due to our bad numbers. That is not happy news for the travelers who are already suffering from cabin fever. Watch that closely.

From what I understand the Appeals Court has stopped the prosecution of Flynn for his lying to the FBI. Hmmm

I use Imodium every so often. I went to the drug store and tried to buy a bottle. Turns out they are only available in blister packs. I thought it must be a Covid shortage, but I checked with the pharmacist. Turns out it is the Opioid Crisis. Those who are addicted use large doses when they can’t get the opioid of choice, so the FDA ruled that Imodium has to be sold in individual blister packs. The other way to get a bottle is with a script from a doctor for the generic version. So it’s blister packs until I can call the doctor.
