According to old English and German folklore,

Yesterday
our retirement group had a nice lunch at one of our favorite local restaurants.
We all had great a great Christmas with our families…Cheryl in CA, Mary in Phx,
and me in Chicago. Always nice to hear happy family stories.
It
looks like it will warm up until the weekend…just one day, but I’m happy to see
warmer temps and the next storm head our way. Hopefully it won’t be a killer
cold like the last one.
I
am becoming addicted to fresh fruit smoothies for breakfast. Good for me and
good for breakfast. So far, I’ve done blueberry or strawberry or banana.
Tomorrow I have to mix them up a little.
The
hair cut place I’ve been going to since the late 1980’s is closing on the 24th.
Hopefully my stylist will land somewhere nearby. If not, a ‘barber shop’ opened
in the mall so I will check it out next time I need a haircut.
My
tech guy did my remote monthly checkup this morning. All was good, except instead
of the normal 20 minutes, it took over an hour. Oh well. I’m still happy.
