Today’s Thoughts

It sure looks like the Monsoon is arriving today. Sky is grey and dark grey, lightning is only 2 miles away. The high heat warning will continue until 7/21. I am very tired of the heat, the low humidity, and running my cooler all day. Finally, about 2pm there was a short rain shower. Dropped temp to 79° in about 10 minutes. Nice!!!

The ‘No Labels Party’ is trying to become a major 3rd party. Their idea seems to be ‘you don’t like either Biden or Trump, so we will find a Democrat and a Republican you do like and run those two on the same ticket. I’ve been around long enough to see several third party nominees be little more than a spoiler in the election. I just don’t see this as helping our political system. If it is grassroots, it should have started building its brand right after the 2022 election. This is nothing but a spoiler in 2024 unless something miraculous happens like yesterday. By the way, what happened to Yang’s 3rd party that was going to guarantee a minimum income for every American household?

Enjoy
