My Sometimes-Long-Winded Thoughts

Winter has returned to our mountain town. Snow, wind, snow, chilly. It was snowing hard when I headed out at 8:30am for my dental cleaning. When I got out, it was just cloudy and chilly. Weatherman says 6-10” tonight…I say maybe.

It only took the jury 3-hours to find the 3 men who killed Arbery were also guilty of the Federal hate crime. Justice moves slowly.

Only in AZ…so far…: The Chandler school district, in metro Phoenix, sent home permission slips for students to study the anatomy of chickens…including chicken breasts. They were afraid of the new AZ law about sex education.  It was also reported that a senior in a high school in the district had the assignment of finding recipes for ‘chicken breast dinner’. The district internet server sent back: ‘inappropriate search’. How much crazier can it get?  I’ll wait.

Ukraine situation…what a mess. I hope this is merely sword rattling. Putin’s actions sure look like those that have led to many hot wars throughout history. I sure hope not.
