My Rambling Thoughts

Woke up this morning to about 6” of snow covering everything. As the day as progressed it has snowed, the sun has been out, the sky has been grey, the sky has been blue. And then a repeat of the whole thing. Right now is sunny, but those pesky winds will change that very soon. I was outside shoveling and cleaning off my vehicle during one of the sunny periods. This is to be our weather through the weekend.

Sure hope everyone in Anchorage remain safe. Lots of pictures of the quake. With all the power failures the journalists became creative and started using Facebook Live to keep everyone up-to-date. Thanks Mark Z as this is why FB was developed…connecting communities.

45 made a big deal at a signing ceremony with Mexico, US, and Canada at the G20 in Argentina. Lots of smiles, says it is the greatest trade deal in world history. Neglected to mention that none of the three legislatures have even had a discussion about the proposed trade deal. Many are saying it is just minor changes from NAFTA.

My Rambling Thoughts
Weatherman sez snow tomorrow with up to 6” by tomorrow night, more snow on Friday. Then another storm brings more snow for the weekend. Not too excited as the last forecast that said 6” left us with little more than a dusting of snow. I live at 7000’ so snow is expected.

Having lunch with a friend tomorrow to catch up on her trip to Dallas and New Orleans with her childhood friend. Then a quick stop at Sam’s, just in case we get a lot of snow.

Focus is in NYC for the Christmas experience. Several people are posting pics of the trip, along with commentary. Nice. One of the Christmas memories I miss is seeing the Denver Dry Goods and May D&F window extravaganzas in Downtown Denver. Nice to see Macy’s is still doing windows in NYC.

One interesting thing about GM and its closures: The only GM commercials I ever see are for trucks and SUV’s. Maybe that’s why their smaller cars and their electric cars aren’t selling. Lots of people saying I’d get a smaller vehicle or an electric vehicle but… If an advertising agency can get lots of people to buy ‘Pet Rocks’, they should be able to sell smaller cars if they were into doing it.
