My Rambling Thoughts
Our retirement group had a nice long lunch yesterday. By the time I got home, it was time to get other things done, thus, no posting yesterday.
I headed out early today for my appointment about my CPAC machine. Yesterday I had to pick up a copy of my usage from the machine provider. I have had this on my mind since I got the letter about denial of service from Medicare. Turns out, all the worrying was for naught. The letter was because a month ago I met with the Dr. about my CPAP machine and he talked about my meds at the same time. Medicare doesn’t let the Dr. do that, so they denied paying for that visit. Too bad it just didn’t say that. Dr. is happy with my use and results, so I don’t have to see him until Spring. That’s nice. About the CPAC yearly review, he looked at the results I brought him. ‘I see you are using it regularly. Good.’ Then ‘Do you have any questions about the machine?’ ‘Nope’. ‘OK thanks for coming in.’ This review, like others, is just a rule of Medicare and must be done in person, with the Dr. and only one thing can be discussed. Crazy.
My tech guy is amazing. I purchased a 5 year Norton subscription a year ago. Turns out they must install the newest version. When I called they also offered me a great deal on Office 365 Professional, which has everything and since it is subscription, it is now upgraded for free. I’ve been using an older version of Office Home and Student which is not everything by far.
‘Clean the Swamp’ battle cry has kinda proven to be words with no action. Several of his ‘GREAT’ cabinet have been bilking the taxpayers on private/chartered jets to attend meetings. One trip cost $400K and the Sec. Price says he will pay for his seat, $50K. Really? No matter what these newbies think, they have NOT been anointed. Also, tired of 45’s words about the ‘great job’ we are doing in Puerto Rico. We are not. Finally, so many on the right were against opening diplomatic channels with Cuba. I am concerned that some diplomats have suffered injury from unknown origin in Cuba. So, 45 says they didn’t find out what it was and Cuba didn’t help enough so he is pulling many diplomats and cutting VISA’s to Cuba. Glad I made it twice in the tiny window that was opened by Obama.

Bizarre News
Was Adolf Hitler a boxer or briefs man? This 70-year-old question was finally answered recently when a pair of the fuhrer's underpants was sold at auction.
The answer: boxers, more or less.
The underwear was left behind in a suite at the luxury Parkhotel Graz in Austria after he stayed there in April 1938.
Auctioneer Bill Panagopulos said he believed the underwear was sent to the hotel's laundry department and were only returned after Hitler and his entourage had checked out. The seller was the grandson of the hotel's owners at the time.
The 19-inch long white linen shorts have a 'surprisingly large' 39-inch waist and are embroidered with the initials 'A.H.'.
Panagopulos, who owns Alexander Historical Auctions in Chesapeake City, Maryland, said, "We've sold underwear belonging to Eva Braun, but never any belonging to Hitler himself. I think this is the first pair to come to market.
"It's a fascinating thing. It's as close as you can get to Adolf Hitler, literally."
The shorts were sold to a private buyer for $6,737.
