My Rambling Thoughts
Went to my PCP this morning. Need to change my thyroid meds and return in 3 weeks to see if things are back to where they should be. Just a bump, but tired of the changes.
So the Fox Debate is still on schedule. Not expecting a lot from the debate or the second one either. It’s summer reruns, so I’ll probably be watching on Thursday. Mostly for the entertainment value.

“Is there anything wrong?” asked bartender of the young, well-dressed customer who sat staring grimly into his drink.
“Two months ago my grandfather died and left me one- hundred thousand dollars” said the man.
“That doesn’t sound like anything to be upset about,” said the bartender. “It should happen to me.”
“Yeah,” said the sour young man, “but last month an uncle on my father’s side passed away. He left me ninety-five thousand dollars.”
“So why are you sitting here looking so unhappy?” Asked the bartender.
“This month – so far – not a cent.”

NYC-NY – Elizabeth Qu9inn Gallagher, 23, received free around-the-world plane travel just for having the correct name. Jordan Axani used to have a girlfriend of that name, but they broke up, and the tickets were not refundable. Axani decided to find a compatible “Elizabeth Gallagher” to use the ticket with him, and the 23-year-old Cole Harbor, Nova Scotia, student won out over 19 other ‘Elizabeth Gallaghers’. The trip was ‘strictly platonic,’ he said though he acknowledge that Gallagher’s boyfriend did not seem pleased.

Somewhat Useless Information
Pearls are an organic gem, created by Nature. A pearl is created when oysters cover any object with beautiful layers of nacre.

Long ago, pearls were considered to be very sound and important financial assets, equivalent to owning a house of your own, as thousands of oysters had to be searched for only one pearl. They were rare because they were created only by chance.

Today, pearls are cultured by man. Oysters are stimulated to cover beads with nacre and create the pearls. Pearls are available in white and beautiful hues of off white and pink. They are also available in black.

All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one other source, but I have learned that every site contains mistakes and sadly once the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore difficult to verify. Also for events occurring before the Gregorian calendar was adopted [1582] the dates may not be totally accurate.

And That Is All for Now
