Random Tidbits

In almost every action movie when somebody asks for a 'spare clip' what they really want is a magazine.

In small arms terms magazine technically refers to a box, drum or tube with a spring inside to help feed the rounds. Magazines can be a fixed part of the weapon, or detachable. Most detachable magazines can be removed and replaced with a full one to reload the weapon.

A clip is a device that is used to store multiple rounds of ammunition together as a unit, ready for insertion into the magazine or cylinder of a firearm. This speeds up the process of loading and reloading the firearm as several rounds can be loaded at once, rather than one round being loaded at a time.

My Rambling Thoughts

The day started with clouds everywhere. No rain yet, but still hoping some arrives.

Another angio-edema day.  Lip started swelling about 9a. Took my pill, not bad swelling, but still a little prickly, and no fun. Also went for a blood draw. Hopefully more good news tomorrow with the blood Dr.

Weekly Sam’s trip was quick and easy. After several weeks of checking, they finally got the Vanity Fair napkins I like. Almost bought two packages, but it’s Sam’s and one package is big enough.

The News Channels are certainly educating their audience about the lives of those lost in El Paso and Dayton. Very sad, but necessary if America is going to bring this senseless violence. I really don’t care about the ideology of the crazy gun shooters. Whatever it is, they took it way, way too far.

I sure hope the guy who put 45’s speech on a tele-prompter gets suspended or fired. It wasn’t Toledo…duh.

I posted another story on FB and the Focus FB page. This one is Mongolia. We had such a great time. The pictures bring so many memories.
