Tigers have killed more people than either
lions or leopards. During
the 19th century, tigers may have killed hundreds of thousands of people. The
Sundarbans swamp forest on the border of India and Bangladesh is the
tiger-attack capital of the world. Approximately 600 Bengal tigers live
there, and they kill up to 100 people each year. |

A nice blue sky on this great fall day. Angela
Merkel stepped down with a 70% approval rating after 16 years leading Germany
and many believe leading the European Union. A great record. Congress
kicked the can down the road and extended government payments until Feb. The parents
of the shooter in Michigan are arrested after missing a court date and are
now held on $500,000 bond each. They ‘disappeared’ just before the court date
and took out $4000 from an ATM. I thought that every bank had limits on daily
withdrawals from an ATM. Hmmm. Aggravated homicide is hard to prove, this
looks like the case to try. Focus Travelers
are in Cairo. Thanks to those who are posting great shots. It brings back
many memories of my trip. |
