My Sometimes-Long-Winded Thoughts

The snow was very wet. It was only about an 1”, and melted very quickly. I sure wish there had been more.

It appears that the Q-anon followers, like the ‘end of the world’ people will have to change the date that Trump is made President again. I read an interesting article from Psychology Today that was posted by a friend on FB. It was discussing conspiracy theories up-tick. These theories have been around forever. People need to find an explanation for things they do not understand. Many times, when a theory agrees with a person’s held beliefs, it is integrated into thought process. Some of the change in today’s times is that prior to the internet these theories were perpetrated by books, magazines, and sometimes TV or radio. Today, the internet has let everyone post a theory and many people will read it. If it fits into their beliefs, it becomes fact to them. Interesting for sure.

Former President Trump can’t stay out of the news. Two stories that came out is that Trump and his wife got Covid shots in January, without letting it be published. That’s too bad because acknowledgement would have encouraged his followers to get it. The second is the CPAC statue. For several days after it was unveiled it was reported that it was made in Mexico. Then yesterday it came out that it was actually made in China. Either way, Trump never liked either country.

While Mississippi joined the 100% open states yesterday, Arizona’s Governor said that schools must be open for in-person face-to-face classes by March 15 or the first Monday after a District’s  Spring Break. I sure hope this all works out.

Friday. The “day before tomorrow” is today; “the day before two days after” is really one day after. So if “one day after today is Saturday,” then it must be Friday.
