My Rambling Thoughts
What a crazy day. I needed to update some apps on my phone. Usually easy-peasy, but suddenly in the middle of updating my iPhone decided it didn’t like my WIFI connection. Played with the phone for a while. Gave up. Called Verizon. After 25 minutes and doing a bunch of tests, the phone was reset, the WIFI worked, and the updates restarted. What a mess. But all is good now.

On Sunday there was a fire a few miles from me, but I still got the phone notice. Sad news is that a mobile home and several vehicles were lost. Good news, the idiot who was burning trash on a windy day and lost control of the fire has been arrested and faces a whole bunch of charges. Sadly, where I live, there is no law for ‘being an idiot’. I’m sure the trial will be happening sometime in the next 5 years.

I got an email this morning that both the state and Feds had accepted my tax returns. Yeah! Now the wait begins. Glad to get the email, ‘cause that means that no jerk has already filed under my SS#.

I am much more concerned about the Actions of Syria than I am about the congressional hearing with Facebook. However, I am listening to Mark’s testimony. I still believe he is an idealist who was not ready for the fact that some would misuse his platform. I can only hope that his ‘team’, which he is constantly referring to, is ready to make some major changes.

All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one other source, but I have learned that every site contains mistakes and sadly once the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore difficult to verify. Also for events occurring before the Gregorian calendar was adopted [1582] the dates may not be totally accurate.
