Clouds have arrived…maybe the monsoon will start today.

The dry weather and the very low humidity have given our area a number of small fires near I-40. So far, all have been quickly contained and just slowed traffic in the area of the fires.

Putin must be very frustrated. He claimed to invade Ukraine because he was unhappy with the 30-nation NATO’s influence near his borders. Since the invasion, he now has 800 more miles of border with NATO nations. Sweden has joined the NATO alliance giving NATO 32 members.

This is one animal myth that's true: Eating parts of a pufferfish can kill you because, in a defense mechanism to ward off predators, it contains a deadly chemical called tetrodotoxin. There's enough in one pufferfish to kill 30 people—and there’s no antidote. Still, pufferfish, called fugu, is a highly-prized delicacy in Japan, but can only be prepared by well-trained chefs.
