My Rambling Thoughts
Seldom has Monday every been one of my favorite days…unless it was a Federal Holiday.

I played phone games with my eye doctor, BCBS, and Walgreens. I have always gotten a 10ml bottle of drops. The last time I filled, it was 5ml. Tiny bottle, not easy to hold, and even harder to squeeze. A month ago I called Walgreens and they said, ‘that’s what the Dr. ordered’. So now it is time to refill. I called the Dr. and they said, ‘no, it’s your insurance that sets the size’. Called BCBS and they said no, it’s the pharmacy. Called the Pharmacy and dealt with the call center. They pulled up the script, and couldn’t figure out why I got on 5ml. She said she would renew at 10ml bottle and said it would be ready tomorrow after 11a. About 10a I get the text that it is ready. I finish my shopping and stop by Walgreens. They filled it with 2-5ml bottles. The dummy at the counter said ‘they don’t make it anymore.’ I said ‘check it.’ She did and said the 10ml would be ready tomorrow after 2p. I get home and get a text that my script is ready. I call, as I’m no dummy. Nope, the lady was correcting the script and the system sent me the text. Called the call center and told some guy how upset I was. He transferred me ‘customer relations’. Some lady in Atlanta listened to my long story and said she was sorry for the inconvenience and said she would ‘scale it up’ and someone would call me. Crazy day.

So glad the Cards pulled it off, then Denver won. Not happy with the ‘weather delay’ but a win is a win. Glad I wasn’t sitting in the stands.

Focus is off on another great adventure. They will be adventuring until Oct. 2. The trip includes Italy, Slovenia & Croatia, Venice, Lake Bled, Istria, Plitvice National Park, Hvar & Dubrovnik. Pictures from fellow travelers are already hitting the FB page.

Sunday I got a paper from my delivery guy. It was the AZ Republic, not the AZ Daily Sun. Called. Ended up getting the Flag paper about 3p. Guess the delivery guy is delivering several papers from different publishers. The Republic is a decent conservative paper but has little news about Flagstaff. No thanks. Interestingly, the Phx paper had an ad for Coke: 3/$10. The same store had Coke: 4/$10 in the Flag paper. Hmmm.

Bizarre News
*-------------- Can't Help Myself --------------*

A teen who was accused of smacking women's behinds in a public park, told police that he knew it was wrong, but he could not help himself, according to police in Delaware. New Castle County Police said that they have arrested 19-year-old Tomiere Harris, in connection with multiple unlawful sexual contact incidents, which occurred in Glasgow Park. Over the course of several months, New Castle County Police investigated the report of a 43-year-old woman being inappropriately touched as she was walking in the park. The woman reported that the man smacked her behind. In another incident, a woman was using a portable bathroom in the park when Harris opened the door and exposed himself to her. During police questioning, Harris admitted that what he did was wrong, but claimed that he could not help himself after seeing the women's backsides. Harris was charged with four counts of third-degree unlawful sexual contact, sexual harassment, and second-degree indecent exposure.

All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one other source, but I have learned that every site contains mistakes and sadly once the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore difficult to verify.
