My Sometimes-Long-Winded Thoughts

A nice day. Took a neighborhood walk before the wind started up.

I’m enjoying some curling and ski jumping today. Last night there was some very nice figure skating. Watching these young athletes give 110% in their events is inspiring.

I just got my order for KN95 masks. I was hoping that one box of 80 would get me through the pandemic, but I was down to three, so ordered more.  Thanks to Morning Save they are all medically approved. On the downside, this new order has each mask individually wrapped, so a lot of waste for the landfill.

I just don’t get it: The GOP made a statement that ‘Jan. 6th was legitimate political discourse’. I wonder what they were watching? I’m wondering what their reaction would have been if the Jan 6th intruders were not white?

I needed some comfort food during this current cold spell. Last night I made Mom’s meatloaf with hamburger, sausage, breadcrumbs, and an egg. Tasted great!
