Quote of the Day
A good leader can engage in a debate frankly and thoroughly, knowing that at the end he and the other side must be closer, and thus emerge stronger. You don't have that idea when you are arrogant, superficial, and uninformed.
  Nelson Mandela

My Rambling Thoughts
Good Saturday, blue sky, little wind, warm temps. Gotta love life at 7000’

Things seem to have gone well in Boston, thankfully. Surfing and stopped at FoxNews to hear ‘…and there is no violence in Boston, yet.’ Yeah, they are fair and balanced.

I am so thankful that I was raised and educated to be tolerant of other’s beliefs. I will never understand how a person can ‘hate’ a group because of their color, religion, … But then again, I can’t understand how a person can ‘love’ a group so much that the person feels obligated to force the group to believe only certain things. Live and let live is my philosophy. But watch out if you try to intimidate me into believing something.

Disclaimer: All opinions are mine…feel free to agree or disagree.
All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one other source, but I have learned that every site contains mistakes and sadly once the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore difficult to verify. Also for events occurring before the Gregorian calendar was adopted [1582] the dates may not be totally accurate.
