A nice
fall day…got some shopping done. I had sticker shock at Sam’s gas pump…$3.50/gal
for regular. I did
get my flu shot on Monday. At 2pm I called Walgreens to say the website was
still down. The lady said, “I’m not surprised.” She manually scheduled my
appointment for 2:45. I got there at
2:35 to find 8 people in the line to pick up scripts. I waited, filled out
the form, waited, and got the shot. I left Walgreens at 3:30. I don’t think
the new system is working very well. I did have a sore arm yesterday, but
today I’m at 100%. Rep.
Gosar, from AZ, may have offered blanket pardons before the Jan 6 incident to
several people he recruited to plan the event. This whole story just keeps
getting crazier. Optics
mean a lot. It is understandable that Biden can do his job while not physically
sitting in the White House. He has been in office for 276 days and has not
been at the White House for 108 of those days. Most of those days have been
on weekends and are called ‘personal travel’ days. In comparison, Obama was
out of the White House 45 days in the same time frame. With all the problems
dividing this country, this is becoming fodder for the other side. Sad. |
