My Rambling Thoughts

Nice fall day. Turkey breast thawing in refrigerator. Turkey day is just around the corner.

Only NPR made a much better start to the day than TV. So informative, so calm, some good human interest stories. Liking it a lot. I always listened to NPR as I got ready for the day, then moved to the computer and turned on the squawk box. No TV this morning, just NPR.

Posting the Alaskan Cruise information on Focus became for cumbersome than I anticipated. Awaiting a true word document to finish it. Hopefully tomorrow. It is a great cruise.

About a week ago I got a call from an unknown person and unknown number. They were calling me to tell me to call the government immediately since the government was issuing an arrest warrant from the IRS because I had not paid taxes. Haha. Checked the internet machine and it was a known scam number. Blocked the number. Got two more calls from different numbers with basically the same message. Blocked them too. Still waiting for the arrest. LOL.

My Rambling Thoughts

Football Sunday. Cards are at least playing today…Broncos not on TV here in AZ. Thanks internet for updates.

Typical Fall day. Decided it was time to do major laundry…pillows, blankets, mattress pads, throws, etc. Takes a lot of time, especially the pillows, but will be better in the end. We do have one of those oversized laundromats a couple of miles away, but I would just about do anything to not have to be in one of those places. I did it my first two years on the rez before breaking down and buying a washer and dryer. Then another year when I was in South Dakota. I swore, never again.

Only watched two news shows this morning. Both boring. Refuse to watch anymore today. I think I’ll do NPR in the morning and one news show the rest of the day. Sorry to CNN, but you just aren’t giving me any news I need to hear.
