My Rambling Thoughts

Weatherman is saying at least 4” of snow tomorrow.  Just windy and chilly today. Clouds are slowly rolling in. Decided to move up some of my schedule to today. Headed out to get a blood draw…yearly PSA test, then did Sam’s so I can stay home tomorrow.

Having my birthday lunch with friends on Thursday and another one on Friday. Gotta enjoy celebrations!

The Public Schools in Tuba are closed today after a social media threat was discovered. BIA schools remained open. In today’s world it is better to be overly safe than sorry. Because it is on the Navajo Nation, FBI is on hand along with NN police. Parents want answers and safety for their children. So far it appears to be a bullying issue. Sure hope they get this figured out quickly. There are many, many single working moms up there and finding someone to watch kids is not an easy task. And sadly, kids not in school find other ways to be occupied and that simply leads to more problems.

Gotta love bureaucracy. Military tells congressional committee that the WH has not directed them to stop Russian influence in our upcoming elections. WH says Intelligence never asked WH for permission. WOW! What a way to run a government.

My Rambling Thoughts

Started this week off with a much needed pedi this morning. So nice. And she was able to fix my big toe’s nail that was starting to split and was very ‘ridge-y’. Now I can attack the week with power.

Snow is still in the tree shadowed area, otherwise it is all soaked in. Weatherman says another storm is on the way. Still need lots as this has been a very dry season.

So the Supreme Court has put a kink in 45’s stupid DACA ending. When will he learn he can’t just wake up, have a hairbrained idea, have someone type up the crazy idea, put it in a binder, call in the press, sign it and feel accomplished. Remember, we still have 3 branches of government.
