Quote of the Day

It is better to lead from behind and to put others in front, especially when you celebrate victory when nice things occur. You take the front line when there is danger. Then people will appreciate your leadership.

My Rambling Thoughts
Got half my plans done today. Pedi: done; Haircut: hopefully tomorrow. My favorite stylist called in sick. While getting my pedi I had a nice conversation with 2 ‘old’-er bikers. The lady came in first, then the man. They are biking buds and didn’t know the other would be there. They had biked Yellowstone and talked about the hassle with tourists and buffalo. Very interesting and made the work on one of my smaller toe’s ingrown nail much easier.

I was fortunate enough to visit Barcelona with Focus Travel Club. Now today I watch the horror on the very streets I walked down. Barcelona is a beautiful, friendly city and does not deserve this kind of publicity, now or ever.

MAKE IT STOP!
I can’t believe that #45 tweeted about General Pershing. The story he is referencing has been debunked for decades. Pershing did NOT shoot Muslim terrorists with bullets soaked in pig’s blood, NOR did he bury Muslim terrorists with pigs.
Also, the many pictures circulating the internet machine, showing #45’s parents in KKK garb are ALL Photoshopped. While his father was arrested at a KKK brawl, he was never charged and many believe he was just a ‘swept up bystander’ While I find plenty wrong with #45, I will never believe that false stories should hurt him.
FYI: #45 only waits for all the facts to come out when it is to HIS benefit, or he needs time to make it about him.

Disclaimer: All opinions are mine…feel free to agree or disagree.
All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one other source, but I have learned that every site contains mistakes and sadly once the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore difficult to verify. Also for events occurring before the Gregorian calendar was adopted [1582] the dates may not be totally accurate.
