My Rambling Thoughts
Quiet Sunday. Still awaiting the snow that was promised. Lots of wind last night, but alas, no moisture. Wind today and still no moisture.

Working on updating Focus Trans-Siberian trip on the Focus site. This great trip is filling up fast. We already have taken over one car on the train and maybe able to get a few rooms on the adjoining car. If interested, get your deposit in quickly.

It is time for Congress to look at proportional electoral votes. Nebraska and Maine already have it. It makes sense. This would give your vote more importance. Living in a very conservative state, I would really like it. The way it is now, I know that when I vote for a liberal candidate for President, my vote will count in the popular vote but won’t count in the electoral college…and that does matter. The idea is picking up some steam.

Disclaimer: All opinions are mine…feel free to agree or disagree.
All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one other source, but I have learned that every site contains mistakes and sadly once the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore difficult to verify. Also for events occurring before the Gregorian calendar was adopted [1582] the dates may not be totally accurate.
