My Rambling Thoughts
Guess it’s time to start looking for fall. It was a good summer and the monsoon was nice. The monsoon doesn’t officially end until Sep 30 but the weather guy says it’s over for us. Not sure I’m ready for cooler temps and all the other stuff that comes with fall, but I’ll slowly get ready.

I’m so weary of the Supreme Court Justice confirmation hearings. The conservatives just don’t get it. Just like the Dems didn’t get it with Anita Hill. I see this as a very sad commentary of our system. My dad taught me that it is never OK to do something to a woman who says no. I cannot believe that so many men, in and out of politics, are giving him a pass because he was just 17, without even hearing both sides of the story. My new idea is that any Senator who votes to confirm him without a real investigation should not be re-elected. This is a big deal and will change our country forever. I remain concerned about the direction our country is taking.
