My Rambling Thoughts
Quiet Monday…storm approaching. Probably will be rain since it is way too warm for snow. That’s OK with me.

Winslow, AZ is about 50 miles from Flagstaff. (Famous for ‘Standing on the corner, in Winslow AZ…The ‘Take it Easy’ song by Jackson Brown) made national news yesterday when a tornado touched down about 10 miles out of town. That’s about 20 miles from Twin Arrows Casino, owned and operated by the Navajo Nation. It was on the ground about 20 minutes but there were no buildings in the vicinity. Thankfully, no injuries either.

I must wonder how much longer the American people are going to allow 45 to just make up fear facts with no consequences. These latest two are really quite bizarre, at the very least: He said the Dems are funding the migrant caravan and that ISIS is part of the caravan. Yet he has no informational facts to back this up. And just before elections, he promises a middle-class tax cut that is being worked on by everyone, including Congress, but Congress is busy trying to get re-elected and is not in session, not even in DC. If I decided to shake my head every time 45 lies, I would be very dizzy.

The painters continue their work on the outside of our building. It looks very different…pale green siding with cream trim and a darker green door. My only complaint is that they put plastic over the upstairs windows on Thursday for the spray painting. The removed the plastic from the front windows right after the painting but left it on the back deck windows all weekend. The upstairs back window is the window in the master bedroom, so it was a tad dark all weekend. They were here at 8a working and the plastic was gone by 8:30a. Nice.
