My Rambling Thoughts

Beautiful winter day…enjoying the sunshine.

I hope everyone takes a few minutes to review why Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is a Federal holiday. He would have just turned 90, had he not been assassinated at 39.

I guess 45 didn’t get my letter in time for his performance. I’m sure that if he had, he would not have wasted my time with his speech. Not impressed.

I was appalled with the actions of the Catholic High School students at a peaceful rally. The native drummer they tried to intimidate is a member of the Omaha tribe, a Vietnam Vet, and a revered elder of his tribe. His name is Nathan Phillips. He should never have had such insensitive treatment.
