Random Tidbits

The Earth is not actually round in shape; in fact, it is geoid. This simply means that the rounded shape has a slight bulge towards the equator.

Planet Earth is the only planet whose name has not been derived from the Roman or Greek mythology.

My Rambling Thoughts

As we celebrate MLK day, it is a good day to look back and review how far we have come. That is not to stay that we still don’t have a long, long way to go for racial equality. Far too many members of the American Society still have prejudice against people of color. Far too many have been raised to believe in negative stereotypes that have never had a basis in fact. Until we have neighbors who are people of color; until we have friends of color to our home; until we see people as people and not as a threat, we will continue to have prejudice against groups that don’t deserve it.

Just being lazy today. Washed my throws that I use in the evening to watch TV. Someday I’ll learn not to eat sticky snacks when I’m using them. Hope that day comes soon.

Today’s Puzzle
