My Rambling Thoughts

A nice warm day.

Thank goodness for good health insurance. I need a prescription cream for a spot on my leg. Usually a good OTC cream works fine, but in dry weather I need help. Called the Dr. for a script, Walgreens sends me a text message saying it is ready…for $479. It’s a 3oz tube. I called and the lady said ‘the insurance was slow in responding…it will be $5. I have good insurance but wonder what people without good insurance do to get scripts.

So sad to read that Bubba Wallace, the NASCAR guy who got the Confederate Flag dropped, went to his garage this morning to find a noose hanging in the garage. Such sick people out there.

I had a nice video chat with my brother on Father’s Day. He and Laura are doing great. Their 6 rescue puppies are growing fast and frolicking on the property. It’s their rainy season so the ground is saturated, puddles everywhere, and of course they mosquitos love it…them, not so much. Life in a rainforest.

Finally got my computer working…it took 3 hours+ yesterday and another 2 hours+ this morning. Not happy with Microsoft.

Last night CBS did a great show with Harry Connick, Jr. to recognize the many who are often forgotten during this Corvid pandemic. United We Sing was a great show.
