Random Tidbits

Houses can host many common dream symbols, but the building as a whole represents your inner psyche. Each room or floor can symbolize different emotions, memories, and interpretations of meaningful events.

A Little Something to Think About

If the plural of tooth is teeth, shouldn’t the plural of boot be beeth?

If the plural of goose is geese, shouldn’t the plural of moose be meese?

If he plural of index is indices, shouldn’t the plural of Kleenex be Kleenicies?

True Things

Nicholas Carretta, 47, of Oakland, claims in court papers that the company sent him "multiple unsolicited, obscene and harmful packages" over the course of 18 months.

Starting as far back as 2019 Carretta has received a chocolate penis, a spring-loaded glitter bomb that blew up in his face, and a packaged addressed to "Fat Midget" that contained chocolate imitation feces, the lawsuit states.

The lawsuit alleges assault, battery, infliction of emotional distress, negligence and conspiracy. Carretta is seeking damages of $75,000, along with court fees and post-judgment interest.

My Sometimes-Long-Winded Thoughts

The day started off very windy…gusts up to 35mph. and the wind was very chilly. Not a day for a walk. It looks like our snowstorm has left the area. Seeing all the pictures from the Denver area, I am glad it is not hitting here that hard.

Burger King launched a new campaign to get more female chefs. The full-page ad stated: A woman’s place is in the kitchen! It did not go over very well. Had people read the smaller print they would have learned a whole lot.

We all know the downside of this horrific pandemic. But for some, there has been an upside: Statistics show the top 10% are currently living their best lives. Jeff Bezos of Amazon made $34million in the month of January 2021. Over the past year, Amazon stock price has risen 70% as most of us needed on-line delivery options. I don’t think I am the only one who feels that the top 10% need to pay some of that forward.

Daily Puzzle

Answer: bottom of the page

This one could also fall in the lying/truth category. A man is caught on the king’s property. He is brought before the king to be punished. The king says, “You must give me a statement. If it is true, you will be killed by lions. If it is false, you will be killed by trampling of wild buffalo. If I can’t figure it out, I’ll have to let you go.” Sure enough, the man was released. What was the man’s statement?

Puzzle Answer

“I will be killed by trampling of wild buffalo.” This stumped the king because if it’s true, he’ll be killed by lions, which would render the statement not true. If it’s a lie, he’d be killed by wild buffalo, which would make it a truth. Since the king had no solution, he had to let the man go.
