My Sometimes-Long-Winded Thoughts

A warm day with hopes the monsoon comes back later today. Yesterday’s shower was very nice

Last night’s discussion group went very well. Lots of participation made it much easier to present. The plan to arbitrarily draw country boundaries by the British at the height of their empire show that no matter how good the intentions, it just didn’t work. Fighting groups are still fighting based on a history of tribal like disagreements, many based on religion. So difficult to comprehend.

The National Religious Broadcasters, an evangelical nonprofit, has fired its Senior VP of Communications. The issue is that he went on CNN and encouraged people to get the vaccine. I guess he is lucky that he wasn’t stoned to death or burned at the stake as a heretic. I guess that is progress.

I watched the solemn moment when the 13 military coffins returned to the US. So very sad.
