My Sometimes-Long-Winded Thoughts

Plumber texted about 8:30 to say he was on his way. He arrived on time and has been busy for several hours. Lots to do, but he says he will be done today.

All of law enforcement in the DC area is preparing for a demonstration on Saturday at the Capitol. Chatter suggests only about 700 protesters will be demonstrating for dropping charges against all the Jan 6th insurrectionists. Hoping it stays peaceful.

FBI and others are in the HOT SEAT over the mishandling of the Gymnastics sexual abuse charges involving hundreds of US gymnasts by the Dr. It seems reports to FBI by the ladies were ignored or complaints were misquoted to stop any investigation. Such a sad story as the wound is torn open again after these new events. Protecting our most vulnerable should be the FBI’s goal.
