My Sometimes-Long-Winded Thoughts

Windy night, but a nice day…snow is finally melting.

Flagstaff set up a sliding scale for minimum wages two years ago. The State of AZ didn’t like it and it is still in the courts. On Jan. 1 the minimum wage became $15.50, with tipped workers now at $13.15. The economic crash has not happened. The nation-wide inflation, gas prices, and rental increases can not be blamed on little old Flagstaff.

The airlines are having a very hard time. As if Covid wasn’t enough, add in bad weather and travelers are still dealing with massive, cancelled flights every day. To add to these problems, the airlines are now begging that 5G not be implemented as it will further disrupt safe travel. We have been hearing about 5G for more years than I remember. Now the airlines are speaking up to the FCC. The FCC and FAA are studying the issues to see if 5G will interfere with planes communication in an instrument landing. 5G works fine in Europe, but the US is using a different spectrum for its 5G waves and hasn’t been tested to ensure that there is no conflict. Then there are the conspiracy folks who believe 5G will harm humans in many ways. Remember, no one likes change…even a baby cries while getting a dirty diaper changed.
