My Sometimes-Long-Winded Thoughts

My mother was born in 1919 and lived a life of 89 years. She was a great wife, a homemaker, a seamstress who raised her 2 adopted sons from birth to also have great lives. She is still missed after all these years.

The horrors of 9-11 drew our nation together for a few months of unity. The politicians, news networks, and news commentators started the process to separate us. Right now, the ‘separate us’ groups are still winning. That needs to end.  For Christians, judgement day will come, and certain non-Christian behaviors may not be tolerated…. especially those who did not ‘love they neighbor as thyself.’ Only time will tell.

I’m still recovering from my tooth pulling. Each day is a little better. Guess it takes more time as one gets older.
