Daily Observations

My Sometimes-Long-Winded ThoughtsSky is

Sky is blue…snow has melted, wind seems to be sticking around.

I, like a few others, am tired of Covid and the related hassles. I am much more tired of the ‘Rules are for thee and not for me’ people. We have all seen them on TV. They make and/or support the mask mandates, then appear in public without a mask. I’m sick of the public excuses…’I hold my breath for pictures’, or ‘Everyone else had a mask on’. Wear the friggin’ mask.

When I was in Egypt, bending and entering pyramids like Carter had done, I realized I loved to travel, but was not an ‘adventurer’. I don’t want to be ‘the first to do it’.  This is why I so enjoy my Focus adventures. I always know that Ellie will fix things. Our upcoming Tahiti adventure is testing even Ellie’s patience. Travel requirements seem to be changing way too frequently and are not clear to anyone. We know we need to be tested several times during the trip. We know we will be wearing masks. When and where we get tested is still be worked out. Who will pay for these tests is still being worked out. I know it will all come together before we travel and I am thankful Ellie never lets us down.
