What jumps higher than a building? All animals and people can jump higher than a building. Buildings do not jump. |
My Sometimes-Long-Winded Thoughts
A decent fall
day. Leaves have not started changing yet here in town, they are changing on
the mountain. Beautiful. Weather guy
says monsoon season is ending soon. We have had several light showers the
past two days…usually just enough to dirty the windshield. Yesterday a
judge in AZ struck down the recent law that blocked schools from requiring
masks. It’s AZ so there will be lots of court cases, and probably a recount
of this judge’s opinion. Flagstaff has
one indoor mall with 4 outside entrances. It is a good 30 years old.
Yesterday, a crazy drove a stolen Fed Ex truck through the doors (4) of one
entrance, while the mall was open. He jumped out, ran into the parking lot
where he attempted to hijack two vehicles, failing at that, he tried to break
into a parked vehicle. He ran and the cops caught him at a fast-food place
across the 4-lane highway from the mall. No one was injured, the entrance is
a total loss. More on the
cable company…it took forever to program the two new remotes. On one I had to
type in 7 different codes to find my TV. On the other one, it works but can’t
program it to turn off the TV. Crazy. |
