My Sometimes-Long-Winded Thoughts

A nice day that would be better with a little less wind.

I change my furnace filter every three months. I usually buy a packet of 3-Better-quality filters from Home Depot for about $15. Today, at Home Depot, the same filters were $17.97 each. Inflation has really hit the filter business.

Clarification: the Biden administration is not putting ‘crack pipes’ in the kits they are giving to prevent overdoses. Turns out I got caught reading fake news.

There is a story going around that Trump had to call a plumber to his private restroom several times after flushing paper documents down the toilet.

Dolly Parton is now paying full tuition to college for her employees. Very cool.

A Russian figure skater tested positive in a drug test after her group performance. The ROC skater is under 18. The banned substance raises red blood cell counts and helps with angina. If proven, a stupid move by ROC following the Russia team ban by IOC.

There was lots of positive Olympic news yesterday: good figure skating, good luge, and more. I’m still promoting the athletes who follow the rules.
