Thoughts for the day

A nice spring day. Warm and sunny.

I had a nice lunch with Faith and Andy. They headed back to Phoenix. Faith’s relatives are coming to visit.

Football icon Hershel Walker is to be the new ambassador to the Bahamas.

Flag had 1200+ at the May Day Rally.

 

NAU announced the lay-off of 7 staff after DOGE stopped funding their NIH infectious disease grant. Sad.

The Moche civilization, flourishing on Peru’s northern coast, was known for its remarkable craftsmanship in pottery and metallurgy. Their vivid, lifelike ceramics depicted scenes of daily life and myth, showing a culture obsessed with fertility and human sacrifice.

·         When I was a kid, I thought getting a yearly bonus to buy a pool was going to be a major life event.
