My Free Rambling Thoughts
A good day…again. Got several calls from friends and made several calls to wish friends a happy Valentine’s.  Got many e-notes for the e-cards I sent. Always nice to have friends remember…or at least that’s my philosophy. While florists in the East are having trouble delivering, here in Flag it was a nice spring day.

I find it interesting because most of the major news network’s headquarters are in a storm, everything that happens becomes ‘breaking news’, but when we have a big storm here in Flag, we barely make the Phoenix news. It takes at least 3 feet of snow to make the national news, and then only for a 30 second story. Hey…individually, we are just as stressed as any individual on the East coast…and it is just as hard for us to get groceries, travel the roads, or anything else.

hot-blooded ROMEO AND JULIET: Act 3 Scene 1
BENVOLIO to MERCUTIOI’m begging you, good Mercutio, let’s call it a day. It’s hot outside, and the Capulets are wandering around. If we bump into them, we’ll certainly get into a fight. When it’s hot outside, people become angry and hot-blooded.
OK Then…

Unusual Fact of the Day
Clarence Birdseye founded his frozen food empire with $7. It bought him an electric fan, cakes of ice, and buckets of brine.
Joke-of-the-day
At a fabric store, a pretty girl spots a nice material for a dress and asks the male clerk: How much does it costs? “Only one kiss per yard,” replied the male clerk with a smirk. “That’s fine,” said the girl. I’ll take ten yards.” With expectation and anticipation written all over his face, the clerk quickly measured out the cloth, wrapped it up, and then teasingly held it out. The girl took the bag and pointed to the old man standing beside her, and smiled, “Grandpa will pay the bill.”

PLANNING A HOSPITAL
A hospital should have four to four and a half beds for every thousand people in the community it serves.
Yeah, It Really Happened
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — New Mexico horse racing regulators are disciplining a trainer because four horses tested positive last July at Ruidoso Downs for a prohibited drug that's an ingredient of Viagra.
Racing Commission Executive Vince Mares says the Sunland Park board of stewards ordered that John Stinebaugh be suspended for 16 years, fined $40,000 and be required to forfeit $8,000 in purses.
Stinebaugh has until Thursday to appeal the ruling issued Monday by the Sunland Park board.
The Albuquerque Journal (http://bit.ly/1hivlJQ ) reports that the prohibited drug was Sildenafil, which increases cardiac output.
The affected horses can't race until mid-May. That's because they're now on the state veterinarian's list for 90 days.

All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one other source, but I have learned that every site has mistakes and sadly once out the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore difficult to verify. Also for events occurring before the Gregorian calendar was adopted [1582] the dates may not be totally accurate.
