Random Tidbits
In dreams, animals often represent the part of
your psyche that feels connected to nature and survival. Being chased by a
predator suggests you're holding back repressed emotions like fear or
aggression.
Being chased is one of the most common dream
symbols in all cultures. It means you're feeling threatened, so reflect on
who's chasing you (they may be symbolic) and why they're a possible threat in
real life.

My Rambling Thoughts
Yesterday became
my first ‘do-nothing’ day in quite a while. I sure enjoyed it.
Back to being
busy this morning. I updated the Focus Travel Club site with lots of
new information. Hope the travelers check it out.
There have been a
few stories on the radar lately regarding ‘Indians’. One: I worked with the
Navajo for decades. And all that time we had to deal with ‘Indian blood’ or ‘quantum
blood’ as well as tribal membership. So, Elizabeth Warren grew up believing
that she was ‘part-Indian’. She certainly ain’t alone with those kind of family
history beliefs. She, to my knowledge, never claimed to be an enrolled member
of any tribe. Since the 1970’s, if not longer, my experience has been that if one
puts ‘Indian’ or some variation of that on an application, it is the person
receiving the application to ask for verification, just like they do for every
other answer. When I claim to have a degree from two universities, I must provide
proof. So, to me, and many enrolled tribal members, this is a non-issue in her
run. Two:
Fake Indian Jewelry has been around a long time. It has been a federal crime to
sell non-authentic Native American jewelry as authentic since 1935. Yet, the
world’s largest Native American Art dealership is being charged with
distributing $12M of fakes. They are charged with distributing Philippines-made
look alike jewelry in Gallup and Santa Fe. Three:
There has been lots of ‘black-face’ in the news. However; only in the Native
community are people asking why ‘black-face’ is bad AND dressing up ‘like an ‘Indian’’
is still OK.
