Thoughts for the day
It’s another nice spring day. Got a
quick blood draw for my urology appointment next week. It went very well.
In his first term he was right there
with Ukraine in getting back Crimea. Now in 2025 he’s telling Ukraine to give
up Crimea to Russia. Such a betrayal to the people of Ukraine, Europe, and the
US.
They arrested a 19-year old for
starting that horrible wildfire in NJ. I hope he has a fair trial and if found
guilty, that he spends a whole lot of time in prison.

The Mycenaeans: Greece ©Xuan

The
Mycenaeans, who thrived from 1600 BCE to 1100 BCE, were influential early Greek
warriors whose culture left a lasting mark on Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey.
One of their most famous artifacts was named the “Mask of Agamemnon” by
Heinrich Schliemann. However, the mask predates the Trojan War and isn't
connected to the mythical king.

The Earth has seasons because
of its proximity to the sun
According to NASA,
“Earth’s tilted axis causes the seasons. Throughout the year, different parts
of Earth receive the Sun’s most direct rays. So, when the North Pole tilts
toward the Sun, it’s summer in the Northern Hemisphere. And when the South Pole
tilts toward the Sun, it’s winter in the Northern Hemisphere.”
