My Rambling Thoughts
I figured the antibiotic I took was what was causing havoc on my digestive system. However, I decided today to head for my PCP to be sure. I’m now on a BRAT diet. Used to be called a bland diet. Of course, had to have a blood draw and a stool sample to be sure it was the antibiotic. Had to run over to the local hospital. One guy in the waiting room was 754 and he was talking to a woman who was a proud 74. They had an interesting discussion that the reason our country is so messed up right now is that God has been removed from the public schools for so long that today’s young people have no moral direction. Then I go into the blood draw lab and the guy comes in and says “Hi, I’m Tony and I’ll be doing your phlebotomy.” No, it’s just a blood draw. He looks at the paper, another lady comes in and they discuss how much blood they are taking. I asked to have it done in my hand and Tony misses the vein. The other lady who never introduced herself finished the draw and all went well. Then another lady comes in with all the crap needed for a stool sample. Of course, I can’t do anything right then, so brought it home and await the time to do it.
Many scientists are on NPR and some TV explaining to the idiots in the world that the flooding is made worse by Climate Change. Also found out that the Houston area has had no problem with building on flood plains, even after being warned that flooding would be worse as the years go by. We just help out when needed, even when much could have been prevented.

Police in Louisiana released security camera footage of a shoplifter taking 18 bottles of wine and liquor from a store by shoving them in her clothes and purse. The security camera footage from the Thrifty Liquor Store in Shreveport shows a woman concealing 18 bottles of wine and liquor in her purse, pants, and bra before paying for a single bottle of alcohol and leaving the store. The video, posted to YouTube by the Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers, led to the Shreveport City Marshal's Office and Louisiana State Probation and Parole Office identifying the woman in the footage as Sekonie Jones, 37. Jones was contacted by investigators and surrendered. She was arrested on a count of misdemeanor theft.
A man called police after his wife stopped him from playing in the park with his buddies--with a handgun.
George Postell of Florida said that he was playing dominoes with his friends at the park in High Springs. His wife approached the group of players and told them to get up and leave. The group of players complied with the irritated woman's demands.
George got up as well and he began walking away from his wife together with his friends.
44-year-old Twyla Postell was not happy with her husband's actions, and according to witnesses, she pulled out a gun and shot in his direction.
Thankfully, she did not aim well and missed her husband. Police were called and Twyla was arrested. Twyla denied the claim that she fired a shot. She said that the sound came from kids' fireworks.
When police did not believe her over eyewitnesses, Twyla said that she is on probation for battery and that she "wouldn't do anything to mess that up," according to police.
Twyla was booked into the Alachua County Jail, on a charge of domestic violence and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.
