My Sometimes-Long-Winded Thoughts
Clouds are
rolling in for another monsoon shower. Yeah! Mary and I had
lunch. Good conversation, good food. She and her husband Mike are working an
aid station at the annual hundred-mile Ultra Marathon. They are expecting
1200 runners after last years was cancelled due to Covid. Many of the runners
have run several International Ultras. Very cool! I called to
get a sleep study renewal…my last one was in 2016. New company so new patient.
Earliest appt. for the pre-study consult is the end of November. A tad crazy,
but the new owners claim they are ‘very busy’. The General
Robert E. Lee statue in Virginia has been taken down and stored. Not a lot of
hoopla, but the right decision. I’m still
taking my antibiotic from the tooth extraction, no need for pain pills. Nice. |
