Daily Observations
My
Sometimes-Long-Winded Thoughts
Weather guy
sez the next few days will be very chilly and possibly a couple of inches of
the white stuff. It’s OK as we always need moisture.
I headed out
early for a haircut. My last one was long ago and either my hair grew slowly,
or the last cut was shorter than I thought. Anyway, I clean cut again, so all
is well.
I guess
Whoopi really stepped in it on the View. She said that holocaust was not about
race. She has apologized on several shows, including the View. Hitler defined
the Jews as an inferior sub-human race. A lifetime ago her apology would have
sufficed, but in today’s world, I expect this to be fodder for a few more
weeks.
My CPAP saga
continues. The Northern AZ Health never called back, so I called again. A lady finally
answered after the 9-point menu played. She checked and checked, ask me more
questions, and checked again. She said that ‘they’ had sent a script to the
CPAP provider in November. She checked and it was signed by a Phy. Asst. I
asked her to send it again. She agreed. Then I called the CPAP people. Now the
story is that their Fax machine is broken and may or may not be repaired ‘today’.
I said I’d check back in a couple of days.
I should be
getting excited about the Beijing Olympics, but with all the hassles and now a
Covid outbreak ‘in’ the bubble, I’ll just wait until the Opening Ceremony to
get excited. Lunar New Year…the year of the Tiger…is happening, even though
Covid has stopped most travel.
So, Tom
Brady announced his retirement. Hmmm!
