Amy lost on
Jeopardy on Wednesday after 40 wins. The Librarian guy who beat her lost on
Thursday. Amy was the first transgender winner and is now the 2nd
winningest contestant of Modern Jeopardy.
When I saw
this on CNBC’s The News with Shepard Smith, I thought it was a joke. I checked
it out and it is true. McDonald’s is introducing
some new sandwiches at certain locations: the ‘land, sea, and air’ burger is a
Big Mac with an added fish patty and chicken patty. The ‘Surf & Turf’ is a
double cheeseburger with a fish patty. The kicker, for me is that each part is
wrapped separately, and the customer must open each and ‘build their own’
sandwich. Crazy!
A new lawsuit,
based on a Reconstruction Era law, that says no elected official can be
involved in any action that does not support the US Constitution. If this
lawsuit makes it, many of those elected officials may have something to worry
about.
This looks
like a bad weekend to be living on the East Coast. A bomb cyclone may dump a
lot of snow and has very high winds.
A hiker died
near the Lost Dutchman Mine State Park. He was attempting a ‘selfie’ and fell
some 700’. Between 2011 and 2017 more than 250 people worldwide have fallen off
overlooks while trying to take a selfie.
I got a county
jury summons yesterday. I had to fill out a form on the internet. The trial is a
sexual abuse/rape case from Page. I must wait until Feb. 14 to see if the trial
starts on the 15th. It is expected to be a 5-day trial. Sure hope I
don’t get picked to serve.
