My Rambling Thoughts
Saw my blood doc and had yet another vampire draw. No big deal and got a free juice. The nurse wanted me to get a saline solution in one arm and the blood drain in the other. I declined that. She needed another nurse to hear me say ‘no saline’. Never had it even offered before, so who knows.
While I was waiting to see the Dr. a retired colleague from Tuba was in the waiting room. He was there for his final chemo for rectal cancer. He looked good, said he was OK, but couldn’t run as much as he used to. He was a hard worker who really cared about the students. He got me involved with his wrestling teamwork that really helped my work with some of the rowdy Jr. Hi young men. Hope he continues to improve.
Republican battles are heating up in AZ after Flake said he wouldn’t run. The assumed Primary battle with Kerri Ward had some assuming she would be the Republican candidate, running against another woman on the Dem. side. Maybe not as some Republican groups have already announced they won’t back Ward. Hmmm.

Bizarre News
A man offering free hugs in New York City, brutally attacked a young woman for refusing to accept a hug, according to New York Police Department.
25-year-old Jermaine Himmelstein hangs out in Union Square, where he offers passersby free hugs. Last week, a young woman and her mother were walking in Union Square, where Himmelstein approached them and offered the young woman a hug.
When she refused, he walked away.
Moments later, Himmelstein approached the woman from behind and punched her in the face, knocking off her glasses. Himmelstein then fled the scene. Himmelstein was later arrested and charged with one count of assault.
This was not the first time that Himmelstein attacked a woman for refusing to accept a hug.
Last year, Himmelstein punched a 21-year-old woman of Canada, who was visiting Manhattan, for refusing to accept a free hug. The woman who was identified as Sophie Violene Dauvois, suffered a black eye, cuts, and bruises.
There seems to be a pattern here.
Himmelstein was arrested in that case for assault, but prosecutors dropped the charge because he was mentally unfit to stand trial.
