Today’s  Quote

Quality is never an accident.

It is always the result of intelligent effort.

Random Tidbits

The world would be a much better place if everyone had SpongeBob’s work ethic, Sandy’s thirst for knowledge/intelligence, Larry’s workout regiment, Plankton’s perseverance, and Mr. Krabs’ business abilities.

Whenever Aladdin lies, you’ll notice the feather on his turban falls in his face in the Disney animated film.

True Things

Douglas Allen Hatley, 71, of Lakeland, Florida, was arrested on Nov. 16 after the Florida Highway Patrol said he found a metal light pole by the side of the road in Tampa and tried to sell it to Eagle Metals Recycling. The Tampa Bay Times reported the recycling center turned him away because he didn't have documentation for the pole, and officers responding to reports of a 1997 Camry with a pole twice its length strapped to the top pulled him over soon afterward. Hatley told troopers a highway maintenance worker "gave it to me." He was charged with third-degree grand theft.

My Rambling Thoughts

New week is starting off with great fall/winter weather.

Cards and Broncos couldn’t get a win. I was nice to see the Broncos on my TV, even if they didn’t play well.

Pearl Harbor Day…we lost 2400 Americans…now Covid kills that many every day.

I’ve been wondering why PPE is so hard to get. Thanks 60 Minutes for shedding some light. Seems so unforgivable that the Federal Government did not step in early in March to prevent this unnecessary shortage. The idea that every state and every major hospital, not to mention the small hospitals, had to compete against each other for supplies to keep their medical and first responders safe. This also led to some very questionable business practices. So sad.

The AZ house and senate have closed their buildings. Maskless Rudy Giuliani met with 15 legislators, mostly maskless,  at one of the Hyatt’s in Phoenix to plead his case for Trump. Three days later he was hospitalized with Covid. ‘Out of abundance of caution’ buildings are closed, but our Governor still will not issue a mask mandate…something about allowing the people of AZ to do the right thing.
