Rambling Thoughts
Happy Mother’s Day to all the mom’s out there. My mom is gone, but
never forgotten. She had a great 89 year run. For decades my brother and I
would send her a really nice bouquet of flowers for her birthday and for Mother's Day which she loved showing off to
all her friends.
Spring Cleaning Saturday…got the master bath and master bedroom
ready for spring. Those Shark steam cleaners sure make the job a lot easier. I’ve
got one for the floors and a portable one for the small areas like baseboards
and crevices that seem to be everywhere. It got a little windy this afternoon,
but a great morning for a good walk. Hope you all left some food stuffs at your
mailbox this morning. Good cause and so easy.

The Flemish Giant is an old breed of domesticated rabbits,
originating from the Flemish region. They have been bred as early as the 16th
century around the city of Ghent, Belgium. The rabbits can weigh up to 12.7 kg
(28 pounds).

At 4,841 years old, this ancient bristlecone pine is the oldest
known non-clonal organism on Earth. Located in the White Mountains of
California, in Inyo National Forest, Methuselah's exact location is kept a
close secret in order to protect it from the public. (An older specimen named
Prometheus, which was about 4,900 years old, was cut down by a researcher in
1964 with the U.S. Forest Service's permission.)

A Melbourne pop-up eatery has come up with a new way of delivering
meals to their customers, by parachuting it.
Jafflechutes delivers their grilled cheese sandwiches to patrons
waiting at the landing zone, which is marked with an X mark and hungry
customers can pay in advance through PayPal, Metro.co.uk reported.Adam Grant, who is one of the creators of the restaurant, claims they came up with the idea during a weekend in the countryside and their venture has raised enough money for them to potentially open a branch in New York as well.
