So it looks like the snow is on its way. It’s cold, windy, and clouds appear to be moving in. But it has been like that most of the day and no moisture yet. This feels like winter for sure.Sorry to hear that Susan Rice has withdrawn her name for Sec of State. I don’t know that much about her, but the hearings are supposed to bring all that out. I am sorry because a few far right wing conservatives black balled her before she had a chance to have the hearings. She would certainly not be the first, nor the last to not be confirmed if the picture painted is really that bad. However, not that many potential Secretary level candidates have withdrawn before even being nominated. Sad state of affairs for our country.

MARCO ISLAND, Fla. - Authorities in Florida said they arrested a drunken wedding crasher accused of shouting obscenities and throwing beer cans during the ceremony. Marco Island Police said Bradley Stiner, 22, of Marco Island, who was not familiar with the couple or their wedding party, was seen running behind the altar at the beachfront wedding Friday evening, trying to get the attention of the wedding party, the Naples Daily News reported Monday. Police said Stiner became frustrated when the wedding party members ignored him and started shouting, "Hey tourists, get off my beach, I'm local." Stiner then allegedly shouted obscenities and threw unopened beer cans at the wedding, striking the best man in the back with one of the cans. Police said Stiner had difficulty standing without swaying when they spoke to him and refused to tell officers how much alcohol he had consumed prior to the incident. He was arrested and charged with disorderly intoxication and the man who was struck by the beer can decided to press a misdemeanor battery charge Saturday.
Somewhat Useless Information
A much-cited survey conducted by US-based David's Bridal estimated that around 7,500 brides would be getting married in America on Dec. 12, 2012--a 1,446 percent increase from 12/12/11.
- The New York Times wrote that many couples considered it lucky to get married on repetitive dates, with 07-07-07, 10-10-10 and 11-11-11 each breaking Las Vegas records.
- According to Chinese numerology, the number one is a yang number which is ruled by the sun and represents independence and individualism. Two is a yin number which is ruled by the moon and represent symmetry and balance. When placed together, the number 12 brings harmony to the yin and yang, balancing the feminine energy of the moon with the masculine energy of the sun.
