My Rambling Thoughts
Very
rainy Saturday. I checked my phone for the nearest lighting about 15 minutes
ago: 967 miles. I just heard loud thunder and a flash of light, checked phone
and it said nearest lightning strike was ‘less than a mile away.’ WOW! Messed up plans for a nice leisurely
walk, now that I don’t have a thick bandage on my wrist/arm. Maybe tomorrow.
Healing continues with the expected itching.
I
get that 45 and his followers have a different view of the world from mine. He
is not the first, nor will he be the last, that I disagree with. I am pleased
that the preacher was released and is back in the US. However, 45’s photo op
was, in my opinion, very inappropriate. Especially when the preacher knelt of
one knee, touched 45’s shoulder, and prayed, followed by his wife adding to the
prayer. Bipolar Kanye ranting and cussing in the Oval office, followed by an evangelist,
(who was in prison for spreading his brand of Christianity in a non-Christian
country), praying…both just seems out of place.
