Thoughts for the day
Another hot June day.
The killer from MN has been captured and is in court. Good news.
The placement of my port is all set for Thursday. Thankfully Andy or
Faith will be able to drive me. They will give me some drugs, so I can’t drive
myself. It takes a little over 3 hours for the procedure. I’ll get my first
treatment on Friday. The infusion takes
about 4 hours so no post on Thursday or Friday.
Historic Figures who never existed…
Lycurgus ©Merry-Joseph Blondel

Allegedly the lawgiver of
Sparta, Lycurgus was greatly mentioned by various Greek writers and worshipped
as a god by Spartans—though he likely never existed at all. For one, almost
nothing is known for certain about him or his life, and stories place him in
conflicting eras. All this seems to suggest that he may be more mythical than
real.
Random Thoughts…
