Today’s Thoughts
Nice Spring Day.
Still
recovering, getting better every day. I’m still staying away from people as I
don’t want anyone else to get this.
The
second indictment is history. Yet the News Channels seem that the best way to
educate the American population is to re-hash all the events of yesterday, dissect
every moment, and keep discussing yesterday. Sad commentary on our country.

History revisited
George
Washington Never Knew Dinosaurs Existed
Often
referred to as the "Father of the United States" by citizens of the
country, George Washington was quite accomplished. A farmer, general,
statesman, and the first President of the United States, Washington was a
learned man, except that he was completely unaware of a major part of the
world's history.
Like
everyone else at the time, he had no clue that dinosaurs existed. They weren't
scientifically recognized until 1824 when British naturalist William Buckland
first wrote the first full account of a fossil dinosaur, which he named
Megalosaurus.
Historic Events
- 1520 – Pope Leo X threatened to
excommunicate Martin Luther in Exsurge Domine.
- 1667 – The first human blood
transfusion was administered by Dr. Jean-Baptiste Denys.
- 1936 – Arkansas is admitted as
the 25th US state.
- 1934 – The Great Smoky Mountains National Park was
founded.
