My Rambling Thoughts

The other night I met a new neighbor during the night of the tow trucks.  This afternoon she rang my bell to see if I could help her. Her water heater was leaking. Turns out they had broken off the drainage valve. Water was about 4” deep in the kitchen, clothing was holding off some of the water from entering the hall, kitchen, etc. The main turnoff requires a special key to turn off the water and the water company is closed. A Navajo friend to visit dropped by during this mess, and as expected, figured out how to turn off the water at the main valve. The plumber arrived, and we left.

I have never agreed with any President on every issue. But overall, my concerns have not stopped the country from progressing. 45 is a whole different story. He is getting rid of regulations that protect our environment for future generations. He is getting rid of regulations that will destroy the public-school education system. There is not one cabinet level department that is not being devastated. He badmouths all our allies and kiss up to dictators and despots. The damage, and the media circus around it, continues on a daily basis. After only 19 months, the damage cannot be repaired or undone. Even if he leaves office, by whatever means, our country will take decades to undo this disaster.
